Many Georgia State University Police Officers go above and beyond for our community. Recently, one GSU officer made quite an impact at the Guns-n-Hoses Annual Charity Boxing Event hosted in Atlanta on November 16. This is an annual charity boxing event which showcases the incredible talents and dedication of local law enforcement officers and firefighters. Officer Cederick Flemming of the GSU Police Department represented Georgia State in the event and due to his training, athleticism, and dedication he was victorious in his match.
According to Chief of Police Anthony Coleman, “This significant accomplishment is not only a personal triumph for Officer Flemming but also a testament to the exceptional qualities and capabilities within our law enforcement team. Such achievements further strengthen the bond between law enforcement and our community, showcasing the dedication and commitment officers bring to their roles. We are incredibly proud of Officer Flemming’s accomplishments and grateful for his service to our GSU community.”
The annual charity event is highly competitive with local law enforcement officers and firefighters training year-round to represent their respective units. Officer Flemming’s victory not only demonstrates exceptional dedication to his profession as a law enforcement officer, but also serves as an inspiration to others, exemplifying the importance of an active and well-rounded lifestyle.
Thanks to Officer Flemming for representing our community and Go Panthers!!
