The GSU Blue Line is being introduced to the Atlanta Campus over the next several weeks with the installation of trail markers around downtown sidewalks. The trail markers will provide the campus community information about the GSU Blue Line, its purpose and paths, as well as provide valuable wayfinding information. More information can be found here: The GSU Blue Line
The GSU Blue Line will define the downtown Atlanta Campus core where we want to drive engagement. It will establish a framework for future investments and create memorable and recognizable pathways and highlight major points of interest in our campus footprint. Investments in campus security infrastructure, beautification and placemaking are all components of the GSU Blue Line planning and implementation. In addition, the GSU Blue Line will generate lasting value for the city, our university and the adjacent communities.
The trail markers are just the beginning of the GSU Blue Line concept. Each trail marker contains a QR code to access GSU Blue Line information, wayfinding assistance and links to campus emergency services. Future enhancements will include GSU-themed graphics to enhance the visibility of the GSU Blue Line, art projects along the pathways and digital signage.
As you walk around campus, scan a trail marker QR code and get familiar with the GSU Blue Line. This project is one of many to enhance our campus, so stay tuned, there is much more to come!
